Creating Websites – Chapter 5

Websites are harder to control than pages in Microsoft Word.  You have to design the page so that it is compatible in many different formats.  Notice the following:  1) you must take into account how big or how small your monitor is, 2) make sure your page looks good on a variety of computer monitors, screens, etc.

Look at how many pixels fit on a screen: a) 640 X 480 – smaller window, b) 800 X 600 pixels – standard size screen for most computers, c) screens above 800 X 600 pixels.  Your web page must look good on at least these three sizes.

-Logical (idiomatic tags)
